How these guides are organised

These pages are built around Steam global achievement statistics rather than around a walkthrough order, because SILENT BREATH does not have a single fixed route. Each page takes one part of the game - entities, locations, endings, multiplayer, hardware - and answers what the numbers say about it, then what those numbers do not say.

Reading achievement percentages correctly

A global completion percentage measures how many owners did something, which is not the same as how hard it is. Rarity, awareness and difficulty all push the same number down, and only one of them is about skill. Every page here that quotes a percentage also says which of the three is doing the work, because the strategy that follows is different in each case: exposure problems are solved by more varied runs, awareness problems by reading, and difficulty by practice.
